Terms of Service & Scan Authorization

These terms govern your purchase and use of Velizor SafeScan ("SafeScan", "we", "us"), a one-time, pre-launch security scanning service operated by Velizor. By purchasing a scan you agree to these terms and you grant the scan authorization described in Section 1. If you do not agree, do not purchase a scan.

1. Scan Authorization (you must read this)

When you submit a URL and complete payment, you represent, warrant, and authorize the following, on your own behalf and on behalf of any organization you act for:

You own the target domain and application, or you are expressly authorized by the owner to commission a security scan of it.
You authorize Velizor to perform a non-invasive, black-box security scan of the submitted URL and its host, as described in Section 2, and to generate and deliver a report to the email you provide.
You understand this authorization is the legal basis on which the scan is run, and that scanning systems you are not authorized to test may be unlawful.

You agree to indemnify and hold Velizor harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your submission of a target you did not own or were not authorized to have scanned. We may decline or cancel any scan, and may require additional proof of domain ownership, at our discretion.

2. What the scan is — and is not

SafeScan is a non-invasive, black-box, pre-launch security scan. The scan:

Sends only safe, read-only requests (GET/HEAD), rate-limited and non-destructive.
Does not attempt to exploit, log in, brute-force, alter, or damage the target, and does not perform denial-of-service testing.
Inspects publicly reachable configuration and content (e.g. transport/TLS, DNS & email records, HTTP security headers, exposed sensitive paths, client-side bundle exposure, and similar).

SafeScan is not a penetration test, not an authenticated assessment, and not a compliance audit. It reduces risk; it does not guarantee the absence of all vulnerabilities, and a passing result is not a warranty of security.

3. Deliverable and timing

We deliver a report (PDF, with an optional online view) to the email you provide, on the timeline stated on the purchase page. A human review pass may precede delivery to reduce false positives. Findings and remediation guidance are provided for your information and are not a guarantee of any outcome.

4. Data handling

We process the target URL, your email, and the scan results to produce and deliver your report.
If the scan incidentally surfaces a secret or credential, we reference it in redacted form for remediation and do not retain it.
Scan artifacts are deleted on a routine schedule after delivery.
We do not sell your data. Transactional email is sent via our email provider; payments are processed by the payment provider you choose — we do not receive or store your full card details.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use SafeScan to scan, probe, or test any system you do not own or are not authorized to test, nor to facilitate any unlawful activity. Breach of this section is grounds for immediate cancellation without refund.

6. Payment and refunds

Prices are shown at checkout and charged once (no subscription). If we are unable to complete your scan for technical reasons attributable to us, we will re-run it or refund the purchase. Because the deliverable is produced specifically for you, refunds are otherwise at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SafeScan is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velizor's total liability arising from or relating to a scan is limited to the amount you paid for that scan. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the version and date at the top reflect the current text. The terms in force at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.
